Yaks

Jason and I were looking for something unique for the farm. Jason sent me a picture of a fluffy yak- and so it was decided that we needed to bring Yak to the farm!

We are currently running two separate yak herds.  

"Timbers Herd" consists of Timber a Royal bull and Little Girl (Royal), Hyacinth (Royal), Lexi (Trim), Opal (Trim), and Elspeth (Trim). They will be our focus to produce friendly and social yaks for the homestead.

"Gomez's Herd" Consists of Gomez (Trim), Morticia (Native), #136 (Trim) #134 (Trim) and #133 (Native). This is our meat herd and once established we will be offering yak meat.

Our main focus is to produce friendly and well socialized Yaks.
